1. Be resilient

It is easier than you think. Stay close to God and He will help you.

2. Endure suffering

See it as redemptive. Offer it to humanity and God.

3. Be emotionally strong

Take the punches. What does not kill you will only make you stronger and wiser. A seasoned warrior. A living survivor.

4. Bring yourself up

Confident people do not bring people down. They bring people up. Stay away from negative people when you are vulnerable. When you are ready, help them as well.

5. Focus on the good

A coin has two sides. See the good. When it comes to people, accept them and understand them. Everyone is fighting a war. Be kind, probably you have it much better. We tolerate the weather but we should like to love people.

6. Cultivate optimism

Always be positive. Like attracts like. Good deeds beget good rewards. Hard work pays off.

7. Be  proactive

Do not wait for things to change. Time is gold. Avoid laziness and procrastination.

8. Expect positive outcomes

It is called conditioning. Have great expectations so that when they do not turn out the way you would like it to be at least you have something rather than nothing.

9. Be solutions-oriented

If you do not like your job, find a new one. If you do not like the city you live in, move to another country. If you do not like something, do something about it. The power is in you, with God's grace.

10. Be productive

What did you do today to make the world a better place? Just cleaning your room is good enough.

11. Seek opportunities

They are endless. There are a plethora of choices. You can be whoever or whatever you want to be, but find your purpose keeping in mind what God's mission is for you. Know your gifts, talents, and skills.

12. Do not whine or complain

What you can do is vent, process them and move on.

13. Make changes or plans

I was over 250 pounds then, now, I am 165 pounds. I lost the weight by walking for thirty minutes a day for two long years.

My life is well-planned. But, contingencies are ready according to God's plan.

14. Ask help

You only ask help when you have done everything you could but still you are at a loss. When that right person gives you an advice you should like to follow through.
