Diego's younger sister, Paloma, whom he had not seen for nine years, six months, and thirteen days, called him the night before he left.
The usual conversation ensued but that one abruptly became mysterious. There were a lot of long pauses and echoes.
Diego heaved a sigh of relief and just said, "I'm coming home."
Paloma was excited, it will be a grand celebration.
The weather in Morocco would be specially welcoming the day they will will meet. It is where their older brother, Javier, lives.
