Meet Gertrude Schutzengel

'Mister David Job Lancaster, my baby, at last we can now see each other. The last time I saw you, you were an infant.'

'Wow, you have grown into such a fine gentleman. I am so proud.' She paused. 'Oh! Silly me,' she giggled. 'I am Gertrude Schutzengel.' And then she embraced David.

'You were supposed to be born blind. But I gave you my eyes. That's why you are color blind. The next best thing.'

David exclaimed, "No wonder!"

Gertrude gave a loud, silly laugh. 'Oh David,  it was just recently that I regained my eyesight. Now, I can see. Look into my eyes and you will witness the many souls you had helped. They were more than enough for me to be given the gift of vision.'

'The original plan was for you to have two constant and present Schutzengels. But you had to read, see the world, the good and the bad. So Fullbright took charge. And he had done the mission splendidly.'

'I'm excited, well, let's finish some things first.' She placed her palm on his chest and recited a prayer in her mind.

'It's done. You have the gift of courage. Welcome to the Blue Army, soldier!'

'We have to save as many as we can. Billions.'

After that, Fullbright appeared. 'Gertrude, well done indeed. I must say, David is a new man.'

David said with great faith, "Thy will be done!"

Fullbright, Gertrude, and David, now, in full force, traveled into a transition tunnel heading back to the world.

Ad majorem Dei gloriam!
