Kobe Bryant and My Brother Noel Carpio

Blast from the past, while my brother and I, Noel, were at the University Mr. Bryant was popular worldwide. He was a household name. My family made an observation that Mr. Bryant looks a lot like my brother, Noel.

Along with the peoples of the world we at Inspires send our heartfelt prayers and condolences to the families and friends  of the victims in that helicopter crash.

He inspired and continues to inspire multitudes of people. This author included.

Life is fleeting.

Life is significant.

Life is purposeful.

He matters so much that even his leaving this world sent ripples unto the shores of these islands that he visited when he was alive. 

He inspired me to keep going with my writing.

Time and again, I would write that what happens in a far continent has an effect in a far and away island in another part of the globe.

He made people smile. 

A hero to many.

A role model. Be it as a father and a friend to all.

May he rest in peace.
