A Treatise on the Absurdity of a Bicycle?

Ah! The moment man invented the wheel.

Life became easier.

Metaphorically, the result being a snowball effect.

Bicycle; then, motorbike; then, car; then jeep; then, bus; then, truck and so on.

Scientists would always say why reinvent the wheel?

Meaning do not make things difficult when invention made life wonderful.

Back to the bicycle.

It has become invisible.

It is easily stolen.

Even with a chain.

Someone even invented a foldable bicycle that can be put in a bag. Brilliant right?

But then, the real concern is: it is not about the bicycle at all.

No, Sir! You can steal, destroy, overlook, neglect, abuse or whatever people may have in their mind. Their intention, whether good or bad.

They do not matter.

What matters is, if you break the cyclist's spirit.

With a broken spirit, the world becomes desolate and decadent.

Did you not realise that when you do bicycling it is the only mode of transportation that, genuinely, makes you happy because you are getting to your destination and at the same time getting your endorphins?

Have you tried bicycling lately?
