A Speech: Just a smile away!

Let me start off by saying a few lines from one of my brothers' favorite songs, (Kuya Boy),—Frank Sinatra's "My Way..."

"Regrets, I have had a few.

But then again, too few to mention."

Not only am I his brother—Kuya Bob.

I will let you in on a little secret.

On my Sacrament of Confirmation.

I chose him to be my Godfather.

So...

I am also his Godson.

He would even joke that he could call Papa, his Compadre.

Time and again...

He would always invite me to attend any event that he would be the officiating clergy.

Then, I would always say, "no."

He never gave up.

The last event he said, "Leni would be attending...

You might want to change your mind."

Then, politely, I, again, said, "no, thanks."

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you did not do, than by the ones you did do.

So, throw off the bowlines.

Sail away from the safe harbor.

Catch the trade winds in your sails.

Explore...

Dream...

Discover..."

That was written by a fellow writer...

Mister Mark Twain...

Hence, today, I said, "yes!"

I thought to myself, "why not?"

Because his love lives on...

In me...

In you...

In all of us!

His name, in the final analysis, may be written, but could fade in time.

However,

Our memories of him would last.

Most importantly,

He is with us for Eternity.

Thank you!

Have a great evening!

And, it is a wonderful world!
