Parched. He looked for the nurse call button. For water.
'Here,' Gertrude gave him the gadget. David pressed the button and nurse Lucila, instantly, was alerted at the nurse station. She was very surprised and exhilarated, quickly, she called Dr. Frost's office.
'Dr. Frost, I am going to Father Lancaster's room, he just woke up!'
'Good Afternoon, Father Lancaster, I am your doctor, Michael Frost. Welcome back! You just woke up from an eight-month-coma. Do you remember what happened?'
David said, "Yes, I was in a van accident."
'Yes you were. Unfortunately, your brother Henry died, and your friends: Linda, and Diane. Good news though, Mr. and Mrs. Ritter survived. Luke is here with me now with more good news.'
'Hey, Father David. I am glad you are doing well. I am a Dad now. Stella was one month pregnant when the van crashed into the river. She gave birth to two baby girls yesterday. Identical twins!'
The next morning, David asked Luke to take him to Stella's room.
Stella was beaming as she greeted David. 'Fr. David I am glad you are conscious now. Look at my babies, aren't they adorable?'
David nodded, "Yes, indeed!"
'Fr. David, that is Faith. She was born at three o' clock yesterday.'
Dr. Frost added, "Exactly the same time you woke up, Father Lancaster."
'And that is Hope. She clocked in eight minutes later.'
'They both have green eyes, which surprised us, we guessed it skipped a generation, perhaps.'
Von Schutzengel smiled at David. He got the message loud and clear.
After more or less thirty minutes, Dr. Frost told David that he'd better take some rest now.
The three went back to room AB-14.

Then, Luke and Dr. Frost exited the scene.
But David was not alone. The room was spectacular. Full of radiance. All seven guardian angels were present. Fullbright, Preben, Von, Berihun, Ingrim, Althia and Gertrude.
David asked, "I want to know if Henry is okay now?"
Ingrim enthusiastically announced, 'Yes, he is. Just yesterday, at three o' clock. He's in heaven now. And by the way, he said he loves you and thanks you.'
"Thanks, you guys," David said. He heaved a sigh of relief. "Thank you, God!"
And, cheerfully, they bade farewell.
Preben: Be not afraid!
Von: Let your heart not be troubled.
Berihun: Take it easy.
Ingrim: There are many rooms, mansions in heaven for good souls.
Althia: Be strong...
Fullbright and Gertrude: Amor vincit omnia!
And in unison, 'Remember, David, we will be saving souls... . Billions.'
And when the hour comes more sheep will join us but the goats, sadly, will be consumed by our enemies.
After a solemn pause and a heartfelt prayer, the five left, while Fullbright and Gertrude remained.
