The Window

"Why do you always do that?" his celestial sister inquired, finally, after all these years. "What?" he asked amused. "When you write, you always look out the window... "

"Oh. That. Grandpa told me that a looong time ago when he was still alive."

You know writers, well—at least some of us, we are almost always in solitude. We thrive in the silent stillness of a quiet room.

The only way for us to be part of the world are occasional glances or glimpses of the view from our chair. Somehow, we feel connected and interwoven into God's grand design.

And when a reader digests our words, he or she feels that our work, at least we hope, that it is meant for him or her alone. No one else. That exceptional feeling is priceless.

When the reader realizes that the inspiration which a writer had put into words is the magical communication such is essentiallya giftthat they can cherish and share with others.

Having said that, you will never look at another window in the same way again for the rest of your life. You will feel that writers are working tirelessly to show you that you are loved, their inspiration and the sole-purposeful-reason for their existence.

What is a writer without a reader? Because of you, our words become alive and resonate in the depths of your soul. For that we are truly, greatly grateful. Ultimately, the whole of humanity may be transformed. One word—Inspired.
